The year is almost over, and Ikwekwezi FM has joined the league of radio stations in Mzansi with song of the year project.
In a recent post on Twitter, which was copied to Facebook, Ikwekwezi FM had shared a list of songs nominated for the Song Of The Year. Unlike Ukhozi FM, which has just ten songs in its list, Ikwekwezi FM has a total of 20 songs in its Song Of The Year list
Sitting at the top of the list is “Imali Eningi,” Big Zulu’s collaborative song with Riky Rick and Intaba Yase Dubai.
Other artists who made the list are Soa Mattrix, Soulful G and Shaun101 (with “uThando”), Kelly Khumalo (with “Empini”), Major League, MFR Souls, Bontle Smith, and Kamo Mphela (with “Amakiniki”), and Aubrey Qwana (with “Molo”).
One thing that’s hard to miss about Ikwekwezi FM’s Song Of The Year list is that some of the songs on Ukhozi FM’s Song Of The Year list also made it to Ikwekwezi FM’s.
