Family Tree boss Cassper Nyovest has revealed that he would no longer sign artistes to his record label, insisting people are ungrateful.
Family Tree was previously home to artistes like Gemini Major, Chad Da Don, Tshego and Nadia Nakai. They had all left for one reason or another the other.
Nadia Nakai was the last to leave. Before her departure, she had featured on the first season finale of The Braai Show with AKA (Cassper Nyovest’s rival), a decision that many believes did not sit well with the “Doc Shebeleza” hitmaker.
Nadia Nakai’s departure was without drama, though. At the time she left, speculations were rife the two were no loner on talking terms. They dismissed that, though, insisting it’s only love between them.
With Nadia Nakai’s departure, Cassper Nyovest is the only one signed to Family Tree. And no, he wouldn’t be signing new artistes. However, he’d be sending out verses to new artistes to boost their careers.
The songster revealed this much when a fan asked him about his record label, artistes and new releases from the stable. Because peeps are ungrateful, he would rather be the only one on his record label.
But then he just might change his mind.
