Housebreaking, Theft Case Opened Against DJ Zinhle’s Husband Murdah Bongz

Former Black Motion member Murdah Bongz, who has since changed his name to Morda, has been accused of breaking into a studio apartment and carting away valuables belonging to his former record label boss.

Moses Nkia Mokgoko, who heads Spirit Motion, the record label to which the group was previously signed, claimed that the musician had broken into the group’s Centurion house on December 15, and carted away studio monitors, hard drives, television, among others.

He also claimed it wasn’t the first time Murdah bongz had stolen things from the apartment. It had happened before, according to him. Back then he had allegedly gone into the house and trashed it, deleted some of the songs his former bandmate Thabo Smol and another musician, Problem Child, had recorded. then he vanished with Smol’s.

He said they wanted to press charges against him back then but decided to just change the locks and ignore it. But the current theft didn’t sit well with him, so he reported the case to the police.

Colonel Noxolo Kweza, the Gauteng SAPS spokesperson, acknowledged the case but noted no arrests have been made.

At the time of writing, Murdah Bongz had not said anything about the alleged theft.
