“I Am Going To Speak”, Kelly Khumalo On Senzo Meyiwa’s Death

Kelly Khumalo reveals she's no longer afraid of speaking while talking about Senzo Meyiwa's death

Kelly Khumalo says she’s no longer afraid of speaking while talking about Senzo Meyiwa’s death.

For years now, Kelly Khumalo has suffered at the hands of the media and Mzansi citizens especially on social media. Every single reaction from her sparks hate from many due to the death of her former lover, Senzo Meyiwa.

The former Bafana Bafana goal keeper was murdered 6 years ago and Kelly has been dragged for it, with many believing she knows something about what went down. Senzo’s murderers are still at large. After years of not saying anything, she’s finally speaking out.

A few days ago, she released a video of herself addressing all that she’s done to help uncover the culprits. She revealed she has followed up on the investigations but hasn’t heard anything from the police. She tagged the Police Minister, Bheki Cele to the video and asked what he’s doing about it.

The matter of my daughter’s father needs to be put to an end. It has been six years. I have been a victim of this matter for many years and I am tired. I am going to speak. I am no longer afraid of speaking.”

“Someone in charge is not doing anything. I have written a letter to the police. No one has even bothered to answer me or say ‘Kelly we are doing something about this’.

“They don’t have to walk a day in my shoes. I have the whole country that hates me, that swears at me every day. Do I deserve this? No, I don’t. Again, as a woman, the law in this  this country is failing me.”
