Ycee reveals his verse on one of Simi’s songs didn’t make the final cut for her debut album, Simisola.
The very versatile singer, Simi dropped her debut studio album, Simisola in 2017. The album fast became one of the most critically acclaimed debut albums by a Nigerian singer and won her awards at the Headies a little later.
We had no idea that Nigerian rapper, Ycee was meant to appear on the album but sadly that didn’t happen.
In a recent tweet, the rapper revealed he had recorded a verse for the song, “One Kain” but it didn’t make the cut.
According to him, it makes him cry at night. He wrote,
“Sometimes I randomly wake up in the middle of the night and cry Cos my verse on Simi’s “one kain” didn’t make her album ?”
