The musical wins continue for Nigerian singer Tems with her recent unveiling as one of the guests on American rapper Future’s upcoming ” I Never Liked You” album.
That body of work is currently available for pre-order. But fans will have to wait a bit before seeing what the songster had packaged for their listening pleasure.
The project features the likes of Gunna, Young Thug, Kanye West, Est Gee, Kodak Black, and well, Tems and Drake.
The Nigerian and her Canadian counterpart are featured in a song dubbed “Wait for U” (track 7). It’s a reunion of sorts for the two artists, who had earlier worked on “Fountain,” one of the songs in the Canadian’s “Certified Lover Boy” album.
While Tems hasn’t said anything about her feature on Future’s album at the time of writing, her fans have been celebrating what they consider another career milestone. According to them, it isn’t all the time that A Nigerian lady singer gets to work with key figures in global pop.
Anyway, with all the excitement the collaboration has elicited already, it will be interesting to see what reception the song will get as soon as it’s released. You might want to pop in here again as we might feature the number.
