It is happy hour for Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi as her sister Sibabalwe gets a golden ticket in the ongoing Idols SA reality television show, now in its 16th season.
This season of the reality television show was initially believed canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic which spawned lockdown measures and restrictions on gatherings around the world. But when it was confirmed the show was continuing, South Africa was jubilant.
Well, for Zozibini Tunzi and her sister Sibabalwe the jubilation continues, Sibabalwe having inched closer to the ultimate prize with her golden ticket.
This season’s premiere had contestants from Cape Town vie for a golden ticket which would take them to Sun City For Theatre Week.
The judges were impressed by the talents on display, which appeared remarkable and much more than was visible in previous seasons of the show.
For Sibabalwe, her golden ticket means a lot, as it gives her a chance, among others, of finally fleeing her beauty queen sister’s shadow and flying on her own wings and merit.
