After several rumours the show was discontinuing due to the coronavirus pandemic, fans of reality television show Idols SA are excited the show is not only back but will be airing again, beginning first Sunday of August 2020.
The announcement of the show’s return after several false starts was made on the official Instagram channel of the show, @idolssa, yesterday 15 July 2020.
According to the post, a video of muso Somizi dancing and announcing the returns amidst a storm of confetti, the show returns on 2 August at 17:30 on @MzansiMagic. If you are on Dstv, then you can watch the show.
Based on the responses to the shared clip, it is apparent fans are already salivating and can’t wait to see a new galaxy of stars glitter on Mzansi’s music horizon
