The good news continues for Zama Khumalo as she receives her second ride, a scooter worth R120,000, from the singing competition Idols SA. She had previously received a Toyota Starlet 1.4.
In a post to Instagram, the songstress had shared images of her posing with her new ride. In the comment, she had thanked Idols SA for making the ride a reality. She had also thanked the scooter manufacturer.
Zama won the reality television show in its 16th season in 2020, beating several contestants, including the man who was eventually revealed to be her lover, Brandon Dhluldhlu. The two recently collaborated on a song titled “Ngimtholile.”
By the way, whether by design or coincidence, Zama had received her scooter a day before her birthday. She had described the machine as an early birthday gift. And when she celebrated her birthday a day later, fans celebrated with her on social media.
The scooter and car are but parts of the prizes she scooped as the winner of the reality show. She had also received a cash prize, as well as a record label deal with Oskido’s Kalawa Jazmee.
