South African singer and Idols SA judge Unathi was dragged by social media users recently after she gave her platform to beauty influencer Sarah Langa, who made it clear that pretty prople should use their platform to help those who don’t feel pretty.
In the chat, Sarah Langa had spoken of pretty privilege in South Africa and how important for those who feel beautiful to uplift those who don’t feel the same way. She had gone on to narrate her personal experience.
Some social media users were unimpressed by her take on pretty privilege ad lashed out at her, bringing Unathi in the mix.
A Twitter user who goes by the handle @bonikhanz stated that Sarah had never made sense. He indicated he was puzzled Unathi should not make sense during the chat as well. Another user made it clears she struggled to understand what Sarah meant by lifting those who do not feel beautiful.
By the way, Sarah Langa has been in the news for some time, with rumours hitting that that she is dating celebrated international disc jockey Black Coffee, following his acrimonious divorce from actress Enhle Mbali.
