Vhudie, a one time contestant on reality television show Idols SA, is back on the trends of Mzansi Twitter, thanks to the charms of his song “Uthando.”
The songster recently released an album named for his first hit song, “My Yoki Yoki.” Housed in that body of work is the trending “Uthando,” a song with potent love energy. Fans are seriously into the music and have been celebrating it on social media. The song features Idols SA’s Karabo. It isn’t the only popular tune in that compilation, though.
Vhudie is a new manifestation on South Africa’s music orbit. The songster had charmed many with his “My Yoki Yoki” on the Idols SA circuit and gone ahead to release it as his official first single.
He failed to clinch the Idols SA prize, but his appearance on the reality show and the charms of his first single gave him a platform to speak to a whole nation. He’d named his debut album after his most popular song, determined as he was to make the project fly on the popularity of his first single.
That single now has a Remix. But the track of the moment and for for which the songster is trending is “Uthando.”
