According to multiple reports, amity appeared to have been restored between local rapper Big Zulu and his maskandi counterpart Mthandeni.
Musicians beefing is actually nothing new. On the contrary, we see that manifest around the world. it is not isolated to one country or state. Some people would argue, though, that beefing benefits the culture, as musicians go out of their way to create bars that ignite and recharge.
And when they release such, they provoke others to do the same. That’s the world of disses and dissing for you.
Anyway, Big Zulu and Mthandeni have decided that it is in their interest to push their beef aside and get on with their lives – in amity. The Maskandi star himself indicated that the beef was over via a post on his official Instagram account.
In the said post, he could be seen sitting next to the “Ichwane Lenyoka” chanter. In one of the slides, they could be seen shaking hands. You can check out the post below.
The news of their reconciliation was greeted with welcome messages by their fans, who are seemingly tired of the “needless” beef in the industry.
It remains to be seen how long this round of peace will last.
