Not so long ago. Cassper Nyovest informed the public of the trouble he was having building a soundproof studio for his record label Family Tree. The first contractor couldn’t complete the work, and Cass, addressing the public about it, noted that he had to start all over.
Well, he’s done with the project now and more than proud to be.
In a recent post to his Instagram and Twitter page, he had shared slides of the studio, and they look impressive on the gram. It’s another dream fulfilled for the “Doc Shebeleza” hitmaker, who has a lot planned out already, including becoming the first hip hop billionaire in South Africa.

Cassper Nyovest has come a long way as a musician. He came from the townships on the back of a truck and was the opening act for a couple of artists before eventually blowing up and becoming one of the most visible figures in South African rap.
It is impossible to discuss South African rap without somehow mentioning his names. But, interestingly, he completed his studio when he had no one signed to his record label – just himself. And according to him, he has no plans of signing a new artiste soon.
