The rugby ace was part of the South African team (Springboks) that bested New Zealand at the recently concluded Rugby World Cup in France.
While he was still luxuriating in that win, Mercedes Benz South Africa decided to honour him as well on his birthday, which was around the same period. In a clip posted on its verified Instagram page, Mercedes Benz South Africa shared a picture of Eben Etzebeth with his new whip, a white Mercedes Benz AMG.
In the caption to the post the brand described Eben Etzebeth’s performance as awe-inspiring (obviously also an indirect reference to the Mercedes Benz brand). It wished him a happy birthday while also sharing its expectation that Eben Etzebeth would continue in excellence on the pitch and beyond. The post follows.
