If you’re reading this, then it’s obvious that Zakes Bantwini’s claims also caught your attention like it did ours. Isn’t it ironic that an Mzansi DJ would claim the country doesn’t have DJs? Well, he has good reason.
The talented muso appeared in a recent interview on “Podcast And Chill” with MacG where he spoke about the Business of Music. Of course, as learned as he is, Zakes had a lot of knowledge to share for whoever wants to listen. We must agree that he made some valid points.
The “Amanga” hit maker believes that Mzansi only has producers who can DJ, and not actual DJs. When, MacG suggested Black Coffee, he replied, “he’s a producer first, then he’s a DJ”. We dont know if this makes sense to you guys, let us know if it does. Watch the full interview below.
