Inkabi Zezwe – Big Zulu & Sjava Dropping Joint Album In May
South Africans are in for a treat of sorts as Big Zulu and Sjava link up for a collaborative project titled “Ukhamba,” which will be out later in May. Collectively the two are called InakInkabi Zezwe, which symbolises the brotherhood between them.
That brotherhood runs deep, for not only are they both celebrated rappers, but they are also from the same town Bergville in KwaZulu-Natal. The two have always wanted to collaborate but it had never worked out until recently.
Sjava would explain later that they were able to work together at last because “it was time.” The result was that the flow was completely organic and the two artists were able to crank out all 10 songs of their imminent album in just seven days.
Given their roots, it is expected that much of the local scene would feature in the numbers they are about to share with the public. Also, it has been said that this would be a one-off project. But we seriously doubt this because they wouldn’t have gone to too much length to create a group identity (Inkabi Zezwe) and also create channels for the group on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Anyway, we will be here to share with you whatever the two should release.
