SA Hip Hop stars Big Zulu & Sjava aka Inkabi Zezwe’s massive hit song “Umbayimbayi,” has been certified platinum.
Remember how we say numbers don’t lie? Well, they don’t. Sjava and Big Zulu are living the life. The famous rappers are dominating the Mzansi airwaves with their latest collaborative hit, “Umbayimbayi,” as Inkabi Zezwe.
Some fans have called their link-up a collaboration that was meant to happen. On April 4, the duo took to social media to announce that the album had been certified Gold. They celebrated the major feat by sharing screenshots of it topping several charts in the country. Zulu also revealed that it was the most-played song in the country for a second week in a row.
About a week later, they announced the song’s platinum certification. Excited fans and colleagues have taken to the comments section to congratulate them. The duo is also promoting the song all over the country.
