Intaba Yase Dubai Ditches Ambitiouz Entertainment, Sets Up Own Record Label

Intaba Yase Dubai has ditched Ambitiouz Entertainment, the record label to which he was previously signed. His departure followed a public disagreement he had with the brand.

Controversy erupted after the songster announced on social media that he didn’t receive royalties for “Imali Eningi,” a hit single in which he was featured alongside the late Riky Rick by Big Zulu.

In response to that public claim, Big Zulu had clarified that Intaba Yase Dubai was actually paid through Ambitiouz Entertainment. The record label confirmed this and provided invoices to back up the claim.

Intaba Yase Dubai, however, insisted that he didn’t get what he deserved. In a move that may not surprise many, he announced on Facebook that he’s ditching Ambitiouz and setting up his own record label.

According to him, he’s no longer with Ambitiouz Entertainment but is now signed to his own record label, which he calls 3.7 Entertainment.

But why did he sign with Ambitiouz Entertainment in the first place, given the controversies that have always surrounded the record label because of how it treats its signees?

Intaba Yase Dubai insists that he didn’t have a choice at the time because other labels were not approaching him. He also wanted to see for himself and not depend on hearsay.
