Is AKA’s “Fela in Versace” A Rap Song or Not? Here’s the Debate

“Fela In Versace” is one of AKA’s best known songs. It also is the song with the most mixed reviews ever. One critic even called it AKA’s “Flop In Versace.” LOL.

Well, it appears fans are still having words about the song two years after the music video premiered. By the way, the song featured the celebrated Nigerian producer Kiddominant.

For the past few days, AKA’s rap skills have been a subject of debate on social media. Some fans had said raps better. AKA had dismissed that with a laughing emoji. But these fans aren’t relenting just yet. No.

Is “Fela in Versace” a “rap song”? some fans have faulted some lines in the song, saying the “Monuments” rapper could have put those lines in more complex ways. An interesting conversation was built around this statement. You can check this out in the screenshots below.
