Itumeleng Khune Decides To Take Legal Actions After Cheating Rumours

Khune is fed up with the constant fake news spread about him.

Itumeleng Khune, Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper, has decided to take up legal actions after cheating rumours. These rumours had been orchestrated by a Twitter user with the username @Owamiwamii. The said user had deactivated her Twitter account after her false claim became known. The defaming tweets made by @Owamiwamii entailed the fact that the footballer was cheating on Sphelele Makhunga, his wife and the mother of his first child.

The user claimed that she had spent over two hours kissing with Khune. She also referred to the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper’s wife as a ‘druglord’ who had no iota of an idea that @Owamiwamii was with Khune for the whole day.

Some ridiculed her story as they called it fake while others believed it and tagged Khune as a paedophile. This also stems from the fact that a claim had been made before, where Khune was involved with a much younger girl.

This incident started when Khune took a selfie with a fan. However, it became a serious issue afterwards.

Itumeleng Khune, who is fed up with the trolls and fake news carried about him, has finally responded to the latest claim. He revealed that he is fed up with the fake news that was being carried about him.

While holding an interactive session with his fans on social media, Itumeleng Khune explained that he was confused as to why he is constantly targeted at being attached to fake news.

He stated that he is considering taking legal action. He said:

I’ve been strong for years and can’t breakdown now.
