It is common knowledge that how well season 1 of a reality show or soapie does determines if there will be a season 2 and how it will be presented.
Anyway, for fans of the South African reality show Izingane ZeS’thembu, there is so much to expect this season. The show brings together the children of Musa Mseleku, easily one of the most famous South African polygamists of the hour.
His son Mpumelelo is following in his father’s footsteps and currently has two wives, with plans to add to the number in the future.
When Izingane ZeS’thembu initially premiered (first season), it elicited praise and criticism. The producers of the show took the criticisms in their strides and have now improved on it. In the second season, viewers can expect a stringer storyline, as well as a bit of the mundane.
The “mundane” part includes seeing the Mseleku kids going to school and engaging in day-to-day activities. This, according to producer Portia Hlubi, is in line with what reviewers have requested. Well, now they are going to have it.
It will be interesting to see how well the second season will do compared to the first season. Just keep your eyes peeled for that.
