Alpha Management and Media presents the release of new music from Superstar DJ and record producer Uhone Luvhengo well known as J-Smash. The Venda born sensation has been teasing fans about new music for months. Having surpassed expectations from his debut EP “Rise Of A King”, with numerous chart topping singles such as “Never Fall” Feat Emtee; “Show Up” ‘ Feat AReece, Flame and Zoocci Coke Dope and “You Know” featuring Kid Tini, Ginger Trill & FreshBoyz to name a few, there was tremendous anticipation as to when he plans on releasing new music to add to his discography.
J-Smash has revealed that he is dropping a new project soon, titled “MONUMENTAL”. The news comes with the digital release of his leas single, the Radio smash HOLD ON ME, which has peaked at no.23 on the National Radio Monitor Chart in less than a month after making its debut on Metro Fm in late February.
The news of a new EP was received with much excitement from his fans. The project is set to drop on April 17, 2020 with the pre-order link available today on his birthday. J-Smash is well known for bringing some of South Africa’s most prominent names to make music together with never done before features, and in this upcoming project we expect nothing less than such high standards.
Already the lead single titled “Hold On Me” featuring KLY, KashCpt & Jay Claude is charting high on 5FM’s Hip Hop Top 10 in its first weeks of availability.
MONUMENTAL has 16 official features with the likes of Zoocci Coke Dope, KLY, Jay Hood, Jay Claude, Touchline, Lucas Raps, Indigo Stella, 25K, Mass The Difference, Ka$hCpt, Mac J, Batondy, MaiN, Doobie Man, Dibi & Skufl.
In previous interviews J-Smash has alluded to the fact that he will open up more on this project and allow people to see different sides of him and his creativity. MONUMENTAL certainly has the hype to go with it and If ‘Hold On Me’ is anything to go by, this will be a project to remember for years to come.
