Hip Hop billionaire, Jay-Z cleared DMX’s $12m Def Jam debt and let him leave to Sony.

In the music industry and all over the world, Hip Hop icon, Jay-Z is one of the most respected artists of all time. The “New York” hit maker who became Hip Hop’s first billionaire many few years back has a reputation of helping people.

Over time, a lot of people have spoken out about this including Hip Hop star, Lil Wayne who once revealed that the rapper and business mogul helped him pay off his 7.72 million dollar tax bill. Now, we hear DMX has also been on the receiving end of his generosity.

In a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, Ruff Ryders founders revealed how Hova cleared X’s $12 million Def Jam debt and let him leave the label to Sony 2004. One of the founders, Chivon Dean praised Jay for the act of kindness.
