It was a major “hit” for actor Jonathan Majors recently as he was arrested for strangulation, assault and harassment. He was in police custody at some point but is reportedly out at the time of writing.
The actor was involved in what has been described as a domestic dispute with a woman. A representative for Majors confirmed the incident but noted that the actor has done nothing wrong and will his name and the situation in the course of time.
The police confirmed the incident as well, noting that they had responded to a 911 call at an apartment in Chelsea, where a 33-year-old male was involved in a dispute with a female three years younger.
The lady, unnamed at the time of writing, had accused the actor of assault, and Majors allowed himself to be taken into custody without incident. The police also noted that the lady sustained minor injuries to the head and neck and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Major himself has not said anything about the incident at the time of writing. It is unclear exactly what went down between him and the lady and how she came to sustain the injuries. Mayne time will tell soon.
