JOOX is paying artists R1 500 for a half-hour performance.

While we all are locked in within our homes during the lockdown, music has become the only thing that we need to keep ourselves going. Many artists have successfully held online shows performing for their fans.

Now we hear they can make money doing it. Over the weekend, we all got to see various artists from all over the world perform on the Global Citizen’s Stay Home With Me concert. Now in Mzansi, artists can have the opportunity to perform paid gigs for their fans through the JOOX App.

The ongoing campaign was started by the streaming platform to help artists who are currently experiencing financial hardship make a little money.

According to reports, artists will earn about R1 500 for a 30-minute performance. All they need to do is get the JOOX App from the App store and signup. Then they can apply for a booking where the time and date for a 30 minute performance will be confirmed.
