Joslin Smith’s Mom Rubbishes Claims She Sold Child For R10k

Joslin Smith’s mom has rubbished claims by her sister that she sold the child for R10k.

Joslin Smith’s mom, Kelly, was recently accused by her sister of selling the little girl for R10k. The South African reports that the allegations were made during a Facebook Live stream facilitated by Patriotic Alliance leader Gayton McKenzie.

The public continues to speculate about Kelly and Jacquin Appollis, her partner’s involvement in the disappearance of Joslin. The little girl reportedly vanished from their home near Saldanha Bay on Monday, 19 February, and hasn’t been found since.

Kelly was accused by her sister of selling Joslin for R10k. Also, Gayton McKenzie has offered to pay for a lie detector test for her mother and her partner to prove their innocence. He also offered a R100,000 reward for anyone who might have information on how to bring the girl home.

Kelly’s sister, Mickeyla Daniels, who is a police officer, said she confessed that someone was interested in buying Joslin for R10k. She said Kelly told her on a phone call, “My child is in the squatter camp. Someone wanted to buy her, but Saldanha was too heated.”

She accused Kelly of changing her story afterward. In her response, Kelly said she told her sister, as a mother, that she believed her child was alive and in a squatter camp. “You are a liar. Making me look bad for something I don’t know,” she said.
