Jub Jub Releases Statement Apologizing To Amanda Du-Pont

South African rapper Jub Jub has admitted he erred in how he addressed Amanda du-Pont during his appearance on Podcast and Chill with MacG.

During the controversial interview, Jub Jub had delved into his past relationships, including the one he had with Amanda, noting that he “smashed” her – his very words.

Amanda had responded immediately, claiming that the celebrated rapper actually raped her for the two years she was his girlfriend, and generally abused her emotionally. She even claimed that he threatened to kill her at some point.

Reacting to the claims, Jub Jub denied them all and even demanded an apology and a retraction from the actress.

Well, Jub Jub is the one who has apologized so far. In a post to his Instagram page – the very first since his interview and the controversy it provoked – the songster noted that he had taken the time to re-watch the interview he did with MacG.

He admitted he was wrong to have discussed the intimate details of his relationship with Amanda du-Pont on the podcast, and apologized for having done so. He also apologized to his fans and the general public for the language he used during the interview.
