“Uyajola 9/9” host Jub Jub’s case has been postponed to February 2024 as the TV star faces 13 charges.

Jub Jub’s woes have been compounding through the years. The famous TV host known for the hit show “Uyajola 9/9” is in court for many reasons. He faces a total of 13 charges, opened by four women, and they include sexual assault, assault to cause grievous bodily harm, and kidnapping, among others.

Jub Jub reportedly handed himself over to the Brixton Police Station and was released on R10 000 bail. Further reports reveal that he made a court appearance on 11 December at the Johannesburg magistrate’s court, during which his case was postponed to February 5, 2024.

Sunday World reports that his lawyers said “something is not adding up” while reacting to the postponement. Jub Jub was also a guest on Showmax’s Unfollowed, where he spoke about gender-based violence. The TV star opened up about what he would do if it happened to any of his family members. He said,

“If you know that somebody was raped, if somebody has raped my family member, I’m telling you now, I would not wait for the justice system. I know what I would do.”
