July Unrest: Ngizwe Mchunu Knows Fate On Friday, Might Sue Government

It is just hours to judgment day, are expectations are high for what verdict will be handed down in the case of former radio presenter Ngizwe Mchunu.

He is standing trial for having allegedly incited the July Unrest of 2021. He had reportedly sent several warnings to the government following the arrest of former president Jacob Zuma. He stands accused of inciting the riots of the same period, but he denies he has any hand in it.

The verdict in his face will be handed down on Friday. According to multiple reports, the former radio presenter is hoping for a positive outcome. In the event the court’s verdict should favour, it is reported that he plans to sue the government, as well as take a break from social media.

But that is not all. It is also reported that he would address those who turned their backs against him in the heat of the whole incitement accusation.
