Contrary to what might have circulated online days ago, the drummer Travis Barker and his reality star girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian are not legally married.
The two were thought to have been married early Monday morning, a day after the drummer performed at the 64th Grammy awards in Las Vegas. At the time, only four guests were thought to have been present and were also the only ones allowed to record the event on their phones. While Fierson, the wedding venue owner, was present, he wasn’t allowed to record anything.
Well, amid speculation on whether she had gotten married to the drummer or not, Kourtney had released a clarification on Instagram. According to her, no wedding actually took place. What happened was just for fun.
The clarification should come as a relief to fans who had been offended that the couple had gotten married in secret without inviting anyone.
Considered a wild bunch by some of their fans, Travis Barker and Kourtney went Instagram official early last year. They had been inseparable since.
Barker had taken things further in October last year when he asked her to marry him, and they got engaged.
