In what must have come as a bad awakening to fans, especially after Usher spoke about his encounter with him and noted he was way better, Canadian singer Justin Bieber has scrapped his world tour over health issues.
The songster is suffering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a rare affliction that causes partial facial paralysis. He announced the medical condition months back, sending shockwaves around the world. Some of his fans cried while others simply wished him well, and yet others prayed for him.
At the time he made the announcement, there was already a plan for a world tour. But it had to be deferred while the songster contended with his health challenges. The narrative appeared to have changed now. The tour was scrapped, and the “Justice” star focused on taking care of his health.
In a recent statement, the Canadian recalled having performed at Rock in Rio, where he gave his all. Now, he’s exhausted and realizes he must prioritise his health. The decision was thus made to halt the tour.
For those who might be worrying about his health, Justin Bieber noted that he’s going to be okay. He only needs to rest to get better. Be well, JB.
