Justin Timberlake’s Netflix Film “Reptile” Gets Low Rotten Tomatoes Rating

Justin Timberlake’s new film Reptile has gotten low ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.

Netflix’s new crime thriller “Reptile” might not be what we were all expecting after bagging low ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. Digital Spy writes that the film sits at “45% from 42 critics’ reviews at time of writing.”

The new film features several known faces, including Academy Award Winner winner Benicio Del Toro, who plays the hardened Detective Tom Nichols, investigating the gruesome murder of a young real estate agent. American singer and actor Justin Timberlake plays the victim’s boyfriend, Will Grady, and Alicia Silverstone, who plays Tom’s wife Judy Nichols.

The movie’s supporting cast includes Michael Pitt from “Boardwalk Empire,” Karl Glusman from “The Bikeriders,” and Sky Ferreira.

The Guardian wrote, “Maybe successive script rewrites had buried the idea; but the bulky physical presence of Del Toro himself gives the film its momentum and force.” “Though there’s not a snake to be seen in Reptile, there are many, many red herrings. But then, truth in advertising is perhaps overrated.” – TIME
