Mzansi muso K.O. thinks he’s the best rap storyteller this side of the world, and has no qualms saying so out loud to whoever would listen.
The songster made this known during a mini conversation with fans on Twitter. K.O., who was at the top of his game in 2020, had shared that he was working on a new (unnamed) project.
He made it known that the imminent body of work will have a similar energy as his first solo project, “Skhanda Republic,” which had a warm reception on release in 2014. In working on a new project, he wouldn’t have his eyes on trends, though, and he wouldn’t be remaking old songs. This had led to the conversation in which he claimed to be the best rap storyteller in the game in South Africa.
The announcement he was working on a new album has been greeted with great excitement gtom his fans, who can’t wait to lay their hands on the imminent body of work.
