Mzansi DJ and producer Kabza De Small has been crowned the most streamed artist on Spotify in South Africa.
Kabza De Small is the king of Amapiano and the King of Mzansi music. He has reigned supreme for a while now. He continues to claim his throne after being announced as the year’s most-streamed artist on Spotify. Shout out to him.
Kabelo Motha proves that Amapiano has continued to dominate the airwaves despite good efforts by several other genres to challenge it. As listed on Zalebs, Kabza “appears in five out of seven top music streaming lists in South Africa this year, leading the charge as the most streamed South African artist.”
Kabza is also one of only two SA artists to feature in the top ten most streamed artists overall in South Africa. He is second only to Drake. His album “KOA II Part 1” was crowned the most streamed South African album in 2022.
