Kabza De Small’s Piano Huh & Young Stunna Sued For R1 Million

Kabza De Small and Young Stunna have found themselves in the middle of a little drama that they may not have planned for. Both have been sued at the Johannesburg High Court by Durban Base Entertainment.

Young Stunna, a part of Kabza De Small’s Piano Hub record label, had reportedly failed to perform at a paid gig in 2022. Now he is being sued alongside the record label for not having fulfilled his part of an agreement. Young Stunna is included as the first defendant in the suit.

His booking agent, Lawk Communications, and Piano Hub are also included as second and third defendants in the case. Durban Base Entertainment is seeking about R1 million in compensation. Durban Base Entertainment gave a breakdown of its expenses to get Young Stunna to perform.

As a result of the failure to perform, Durban Base Entertainment, which is owned by an unnamed music producer claims that it continues to suffer reputational damage and financial loss as a result of Young Stunna not showing up for the gig for which he was paid.

This is but one of a couple of times when a music promoter has moved against an artist for being a no-show. It remains to be seen where this case will lead to.
