In football, confidence is very important, and it so happens that Kaizer Chiefs sporting director Jaizer Motaung Jr has confidence and a half. Of course, he is not the one on the pitch running around with the ball, but he is confident in the ability of his team to push ahead and snag what they have to.
As far as the sporting director is concerned, the PSL is not over yet, and while his team is not exactly top of the league, they have their eyes set on clinching the Nedbank Cup. Of course, at this point, it is unclear how things will turn out, especially given football’s unpredictability, but Motaung Jr is still confident.
Kaizer Chiefs are currently 4th in the PSL, and while it appears like the team still has a long way to go, the sporting director feels it is too early to rule out his team going ahead to snag a ware at the end of the day.
He should have a point perhaps. After all, the club has come close to club glory in the 2019/ 2020 season, only to lose out in the end. This time he expects rivals to experience the loss and not his side.
