The past few months have been laden with rumors that Canadian rapper Drake has his eyes on South African amapiano artist Kamo Mphela. And not it appears the songstress want to see for herself. She wants to meet Drake.
In a tweet yesterday, September 7, the “SBWL” rapper made it clear she needed to speak to Drake at this point because… She made the tweet from London, where she was billed to perform alongside Cassper Nyovest, Mr. Jazziq, DBN Gogo and several others at the Amapiano Festival. While some of her fans were excited she should be showing interest in Drake publicly and also they would make fine partners, others were gutted because their chances with her appeared to have vanished. They can, after all, not compete with Drake.
It remains to be seen if Kamo Mphela’s dream of meeting the “Certified Lover Boy” will come to pass and how soon.
By the way, Family Tree rapper Cassper Nyovest was one of those who had fanned the belief Drake, as well as another Canadian rap notable Tory Lanez, has amorous designs on Kamo Mphela
