Mzansi songstress Kamo Mphela takes a cue from her contemporaries, launching a dance challenge to promote her song “Amateki.”
A dance challenge is now the trend in Africa’s music horizon, used to promote songs and even albums.It is a particularly effective way of promoting a song and keeping it green in the memory of fans around the world. Artistes who have used this method effectively include Diamond Platnumz and Rayvanny.
Well, Kamo Mphela has bought into the same trend, and it is looking like her song “Amateki” will illuminate the public’s consciousness for a long time. The song is part of the singer’s 2019 EP, “Twentee.”
By the way, from the clip she shared of the challenge, it appears like the aim of the dance is to keep your feet from the ground as much as possible, or not let it touch the ground at all.
