Kanye West Accuses Universal Music As “DONDA” Album Arrives Days Earlier

To the surprise and shock of many, Kanye West’s “Donda” album dropped yesterday Sunday, about four days earlier than the songster had asked fans to expect the project.

Ye was to have released his album on 3 September, the same day his one-time buddy Drake had promised to release his “Certified Lover Boy” album. He’d deliberately picked the same release date as the Canadian.

By a quirk of kismet, though, fans of the American rapper would not have to wait so long. The album is out already. But Ye claims he wasn’t the one who released it.

In a post to Instagram, the father of four claimed that Universal Music put out the album without his approval. He also accused the record label of blocking the song “Jail 2” from the project. At the time of writing this Universal Music had not commented on the claims.

Kanye West may not have approved the release of the project until September, but fans are happy it is out already. One particular fan had wondered if the rapper wanted to take six years to hype the project before releasing it.

The reception for the album has been warm. Will Ye sue Universal Music for releasing the album, as some fans are biding him do?
