Kanye West Announces Donda 2, Executive Produced by Future

American rapper and Gospel star, Kanye West has announced a forthcoming follow-up to his latest project titled “Donda 2” executive produced by Future.

Last year, Kanye’s Donda album was all everyone in the world could talk about. Ye raked in millions of dollars from Live stadium shows even before the project dropped. The anticipation for it was crazy.

Donda came laden with a solid 27 tracks including “Praise God”, “Jail”, “Jail 2”, “Praise God”, “Heaven & Hell”, and more. The project was praised for its impressive production, and the stellar delivery from the artists featured on it. Now, we hear he’s got plans to come through with a followup in less than a month from now. That’s so cool.

In a post made to his Instagram page, Ye announced the “Donda 2“. He revealed in the post that the album will be executive produced by Future, and will drop on the 22nd day of February. Both rappers recently hit the stage together at Rolling Loud California. We also cannot forget their 2014 Collab, I Won.

We first got news of the album when former C.O.O of West’s G.O.O.D Music, former executive vice president and Head of A&R at Def Jam Recordings, Steven Victor said in an interview with Complex, “Listen, [Donda 2 is] coming sooner than you think. The procession is starting and it’s not stopping.”
