Twitter begs for “Watch The Throne 2” following tweet by Kanye West about Missing Jay-Z.
To this day, no one knows what really went down between iconic Hip Hop stars, Kanye West and Jay-Z. The friendship between the two was highly envied. 9 years ago, the two stars delivered one of the highest acclaimed collaborative projects of all time, “Watch The Throne”.
For many years, fans have begged the two to drop a followup to the project but that hasn’t happened. Years back, in 2016, Kanye revealed to fans during the Saint Pablo Tour that the album wouldn’t ever be released. He revealed that it was due to the reason why he wasn’t on “Pop Style” because of Hov.
Two years after, he tweeted that the sequel was on its way but that never happened. Like a lot of other disappointing non-releases, there was no explanation for that. The recent Roc Nation brunch had fans believing that all is well between the two but many are still confused about it.
In a recent tweet shared today, August 11, Ye revealed he misses his bro, Jay-Z along with a screenshot of the both of them during a Watch The Throne Live performance. Reacting to the tweet, fans flooded the comments section with requests for the album’s sequel.
