Media personality Katlego Maboe is set to return to the screen after his controversial exit. According to multiple reports, he will return to the Expresso Morning Show as early as next week Monday.
The Cardova TV channel also confirmed the return in a statement issued on Tuesday, August 8. The return is especially significant for Katlego because he was kicked from the show exactly two years ago, in 2020.
His exit had been spawned by allegations he cheated on his then-partner. At the same time, she’d also accused him of being physically abusive towards her. The allegations were so pronounced back then that the South Africa Film and Television Awards (SAFTA) winning presenter almost became a persona non grata in the industry.
He lost endorsements and presenting gigs, and many industry mates wouldn’t want to be associated with him. Along the line, though, the case against him had been thrown out. This also led to a change in public opinion, with peeps now calling for the head of the ex.
All that appears to be in the past, and Katlego Maboe himself seems to be on the path of recovery.
On his return to the Expresso Morning Show, Katlego Maboe will be in conversation with Graeme Richards.
