BCCSA has also recently cleared Unathi Nkayi over ‘tribalistic comments’ she made last year on Idols SA.

She had gotten viewers of Idols SA infuriated after she praised one of the finalists, Luyola Yiba, stating that Xhosa were holding up South Africa. However, BCCSA has come out to clear her statement, explaining that there was no evidence the media personality had advocated hatred.
