Kelis’ Husband Mike More Dies At 37 Following Battle With Cancer

It’s a sad moment for Kelis right now, having lost her husband Mike Mora to stomach cancer. He was just 37.

Mike Mora, a photographer, was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2020 and told he has 18 months to live. Sadly, to the loss of the photography world, the prognosis proved true.

A year after he was diagnosed with the problem, in September 2021, he had taken to his Instagram to share the devastating news with his fans. Most of them were worried, and some wished him strength going forward.

A statement released by Kelis’s agent confirmed the death while also asking that the public respect the privacy of the grieving widow and her family.

By the way, Kelis and Mora got married in 2014 and welcomed their son a year later, in 2015. 2020 brought both tears and joy to the family in that the couple welcomed a daughter – who remains unnamed to the public – into the family and Mora was also diagnosed with stomach cancer.

The report of Mora’s death appears devastating as much for his widow as for the fans of his photography. This much should be obvious from the responses so far to his death. He will be sorely missed for his contribution to the world of photography.
