Kelly Khumalo Mocks Senzo Meyiwa’s Netflix Documentary

South African singer Kelly Khumalo has thrown a shade on the Netflix documentary Senzo: Murder of a Soccer Star, stating that the show’s producers interviewed her under false pretence.

The show sought to bring back to life the late Bafana Bafana and his relationship with the “Empini” singer until his murder in her family home in Vosloorus in 2014.

According to Kelly Khumalo, the show’s producers approached her with hidden identities and told her their interview with her was for a United Kingdom show. She was therefore shocked when it turned out to be a doccie for the streamer.

Unimpressed with how things had turned out, she had urged members of the public to disregard the documentary. She had also approached her lawyer Magdalene Moonsamy to take over the case on the documentary.

About Adv. Malesela Teffo, who’s defending four of the five accused in the murder trial, Kelly Khumalo says that the lawyer is nothing more than a publicity-hungry wig who would mention her name again and again just to trend.

Teffo had claimed that Kelly is a suspect in the case and even noted he’s bringing a witness to testify that Kelly had accidentally shot and killed Senzo on that fateful day.
