Kelly Khumalo Not Paying Back Booking Fee After Failing To Show Up For Event

An event organizer that booked “Empini” crooner Kelly Khumalo to perform at an event has demanded  a refund since the songstress failed to perform.

Caroline Mosiamo had reportedly booked the songstress to perform at a cost of R30k to perform at an event in Bloemfontein in August but the songstress was a no-show, although she reportedly arrived at the event late.

Caroline claimed that besides paying the songstress R30k, she was also booked into a hotel where she checked in from the parking lot. Continuing, she stated she’d also asked the singer’s manager if Kelly could perform at her nest event in lieu of the event she missed, but the managed said no.

According to the manager, Kelly was booked to perform at 9 pm but when she showed up, the venue was deserted without anyone informing Kelly what was really going on.

He insisted what actually happened was the result of miscommunication on the part of the event organizers, insisting the singer won’t perform at another event by the organizers and won’t refund the R30k they paid her.

According to Caroline, if Kelly Khumalo should refuse to perform, she would sue her in court. It remains to be seen which way the case will take. Stay tuned.
