Mzansi singer and songwriter Kelly Khumalo’s song “Asine” comes under scrutiny amid the ongoing Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
The heat has been on Kelly Khumalo for a while now, as the Senzo Meyiwa trail has been going strong. The trial dominates the trends always and has brought so much scrutiny on the “Empini” singer.
This time, people have dug up an old song of Kelly’s in which she sings about a woman who is accused of killing her husband, but she kept on denying it in court. The popular page @ThisIsColbert posted a clip of an old interview where Kelly Khumalo told Robert Marawa about the song titled “Asine.”
She said, “is about a woman who is accused of killing her husband. During that court case she kept on saying it’s not me, it’s not me.” The page also pointed out that Senzo Meyiwa was still alive when the song was released. Check the video out below.
