Kelly Khumalo made an interesting revelation in the recent episode of her reality television show, Life With Kelly Khumalo, invariably tapping awake the ghost of a man she claims is the only one she’s ever loved.
In that episode, the “Voice of Africa” claimed that the Bafana bafana goalie betrayed her by failing to tell her that he was married. According to Kelly, she only found out when she was three months pregnant for him. A daughter, Thingo, is the product of that pregnancy.
Because of this “betrayal,” according to her, she now has trust issues. Yeah, Kelly Khumalo trusts absolutely no one – not even family members. This lack of trust has been the fulcrum of her relationships since Senzo Meyiwa’s death.
The goalie, who was born in Vosloorus, was murdered on 26 October 2014 in Kelly Khumalo’s presence. The circumstances of his death have led many to link Kelly Khumalo to it. She routinely denies having a hand in his death, though, describing Senzo as the only man she has ever loved.
