Keri Miller Speaks On Her Exit From ECR’s Morning Drive Show

It is no longer news that Kerri Miller has left the East Coast Radio (ECR) morning drive show. What is new is that she has just given insights into the decision she made to leave the show: She felt bullied, and she couldn’t continue in such an atmosphere.

Until her exit, Miller was hosting the morning show alongside with Darren Maule and Sky Tshabalala. There have been several speculations as to the reason for her exit from the moment of her departure.

ECR managing director Bonnie Mchunu had announced her departure at the time but without giving details as to the reason for her exit (marked confidential by him). He, however, noted that she left a legacy, having made significant contributions to the station.

Speaking on exit, though, she revealed that she and her co-host have differing views on a couple of subjects, from religion down to COVID-19. She moved from feeling part of the show to being bothered by comments, including sexual innuendos. She felt victimised and work was no longer enjoyable as it used to be.

At some point, she decided she had had enough and made the decision to quit for good. The rest, as they say, is history.
