Kfm 94.5 Partners With LottoStar To Raise R8 Million For Peninsula School Feeding Association

Kfm is spearheading a charity radiothon to raise R8 million for the Peninsula School Feeding Association. The goal is to address childhood hunger among students in the Cape area of the Rainbow.

Kfm had previously raised R758 750 for the Peninsula School Feeding Association, which it said would feed 1,331 children for a year.

While those are impressive numbers, Kfm says so much more needs to be done. For example, precisely 14,736 school children require support. So more funds are needed to cater to them all.

Thus was born the one-day community initiative, dubbed ‘Feeding Our Future’ Radiothon, to raise R8 million to cater to all the students in need of aid.

Lottostar is a partner in this initiative and promises to match every donation up to R4 million. This means that Lottostar will donate the aggregate of sums donated up to but not above R4 million. If Kfm should raise just R4 million, then Lottostar will top up with R4 million – a win-win for the kids in need of aid.

Individuals or organizations who want to vote are encouraged to do so via the site provided by organizers of the charity event: https://lottostar.co.za/portals/kfm/radiothon.

The initiative is already live and will end in a few hours.
